With these Pod SnapShots, visitors can get detailed, first hand knowledge of an attraction and its amenities before they even get there. We hope visitors to our site find these guides useful when they’re visiting these attractions this Easter. Many people use iPods these days – and so we thought it would be cool to provide those users with an additional reason to pack an iPod when going out and about. We think we’ve achieved that with our Pod SnapShots”.

Child Advocacy
From the age 10 to 17 I had an uncle that raped and molested me. I suffered the stereotypical side effects of what happened. When she was 13, our daughter wanted to know why I was so strict and over-bearing with her freedoms. I took accountability for my behavior and began exorcising the violation demons within myself and removed the transparency of my life I laid on our children. I wrote candidly about my experience and created 16 poems, from anger to forgiveness. I spent two years in the schools talking to students from middle school to high school on esteem issues, how to create boundaries, and the absolute possibility of overcoming trauma. I have an amazing story. I survived, and am currently working on publishing my program based on my presentations to help teens with esteem issues and how to keep and build confidence. I did this at the insistence of my students and teachers. It is a complete educational program with age specific presentations on PowerPoint. Good stuff. Come check out my site. http://www.rfcram.com/never_ever_your_fault.htm

Paying the Piper for Last Year's Hurricanes
Floridians will soon have to pay up for the devastating losses of last years hurricane season.
Homeowners can expect to see a seven percent charge after the board of a state run insurance company voted for the assessment. Some homeowners are outraged about it.
Last years hurricanes are gone, but certainly not forgotten. Your reminder will soon come in the form of a charge to bail out Citizens Property Insurance, the company of last resort.
The six point eight percent add-on is infuriating to Carol and Ned Bliss who chose not to live on the coast for fear of hurricane damage. "Were still going to have to pay for people who live at the beach and risk losing everything. I plan to protest with the legislature."
Homeowners across Florida will pay the charge, whether you live on the coast or not. So, if you pay about $1,000 for your homeowners insurance, youll pay an extra $70.
Citizens Property has the authority to make up debts by passing them along to insurance companies. The charge will help the company recover $516 million loss.
Justin Glover is spokesperson for Citizens Property Insurance. "Were in a good position to continue paying claims stemming from any event this year."
Jeff Grady, President of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents says the bail out isnt fair. "If you are going to live along the coast, there is a price to doing so. It seems patently unfair to those who cant afford to do so or choose not to."
Homeowners should start seeing the charge on policies that renew after November 1.

Huge Sewage Leak in Sarasota and into the Ocean Today
Sewage flowing into the sea in Sarasota.
Since 1988, major malfunctions with a raw sewage pipeline in Sarasota have caused hundreds of thousands of gallons of sewage to flow into the Hudson Bayou region. It has irritated neighbors, as well as posed threats to the local environment and local fish populations.
Todays event, that started early this morning, is now estimated to have distributed more than 500,000 gallons of raw waste into the surrounding ocean. By 8:30 am, a diesel-powered pump from Tampa arrived on the scene and was able to stop the overflow. Now, workers are determining what caused the electrical shortage that started the mess.
Here is what complicates the sewage spill. Two significant Red Tide algal blooms are alive about 15 miles off of our coast. These toxic plant-like organisms are known to kill fish, wash ashore and litter our beaches. People on the beaches may suffer temporary respiratory irritation.
In certain documented cases in California, sewage leaks have been known to increase the size and potential damage of red tides. This has worried local State and Local officials, but fortunately, there seems to be some good news to report. Our local red tides, known as Karenia Brevis, thrive on elements that aren’t part of this sewage dilemma, so there is the good chance that the sewage won’t cause a fast, massive explosion in the size of our red tide beds just offshore.
